Become a Peer Mentor

If you have a personal history of recovery, you can act as a peer mentor to a judge, lawyer or law student currently dealing with mental health disorders and/or addiction. Your experience is invaluable, and you can serve as a beacon of hope to a peer who is in desperate need of a way out.

If a struggling peer sees that they are not alone and that there have been others who have not only gone through the same things as them, but have made it out on the other side, that may be the push they need to start their journey toward recovery.

Community Involvement

The Virginia Judges & Lawyers Assistance Program is also always looking for people to help volunteer with our:
