VJLAP Board Member Herring Honored
On October 19th, VJLAP Board Member, Michael N. Herring was honored as the Virginia Lawyer Weekly’s (VLW’s) 2021 “Leader of the Year.”
Mr. Herring, who is a managing partner at McGuireWoods in Richmond, was chosen via secret ballot from his peers for this award. In addition to being a VJLAP Board Member and a highly honored member of the Commonwealth’s legal profession throughout his approximately thirty years of practice in the criminal and civil justice systems.
The VLW article noted:
“Recognition by my peers is both humbling and greatly appreciated,” Herring said. “I often boast about the Virginia legal community when I speak to attorneys from other states, and I never take for granted what we have — collegiality, professionalism, trust and, above all, respect for one another.”
