The 17th Annual VJLAP Fall Retreat Is Just Weeks Away

The VJLAP Fall Retreat will be will be held on Friday, September 17 and Saturday, September 18, 2021 in Lynchburg, Virginia. Join this wellness-building events open to all of Virginia’s current and future legal professionals. The Retreat is a hybrid event this year and registration is open for in-person and virtual attendance.

  • Join us and your colleagues for two days in Lynchburg or
  • Join us on-line for one or all of our live-streamed CLE opportunities covering all areas of wellness.
  • Note: Friday’s dinner and keynote address is in-person only.

Topics will cover the following ethics, mental health, addiction, and wellness issues in and perspectives from Virginia’s legal profession:

  • Depression and Trauma
  • Legal Ethics
  • A View from the Bench
  • Diversity in Need and Service Provision

Friday night will begin with the “Bayou Bash” dinner at the Craddock Terry Hotel & Event Center and will feature a keynote address by The Honorable Elizabeth McClanahan, CEO of the Virginia Tech Foundation and Former Justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia The full agenda is available here.
